]]>Forbes has announced its list of comedians who made bank in 2019 and some well-known names feature on the list, proving that humor brought in the big bucks.
The earnings were totalled from June 1st 2018 to June 1st 2019.
Kevin Hart made the most of his comedy tour and Netflix special, bringing in $59 million and securing him the title of top stand-up comedian.
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor was followed by veteran comedian Jerry Seinfeld, whose Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series helped him earn $41 million.
Jim Gaffigan, who can also be seen on Netflix in his special Quality Time, made a mean $30 million, followed by Trevor Noah and Sebastian Maniscalco rounding out the top 5 with $28 million and $26 million, respectively.
While the majority of the list was dominated by men, Amy Schumer represented the women, coming in 7th place.

]]>According to Forbes, the singer now has a staggering net worth of $600 million, far surpassing those of the previous record holders Madonna ($570 million) and Celine Dion ($450 million).
Considering the 31-year-old pop star hasn’t released an album since 2016, most of her fortune has been amassed through her Fenty Beauty line, as well as her fashion line Fenty with French luxury goods company LVMH. It’s estimated that the cosmetics line is worth about $3 billion and generated $150 million in its first 15 months of operation.
Clearly Rihanna has invested wisely, and many experts attribute her financial success to more than just slapping her name on a brand.
The Barbadian beauty mogul has chosen ventures that speak to her personality and show fans that she actually believes in the product. Not only that, but her makeup line is extremely inclusive, offering shades to everyone from those with very dark complexions, to those who are very pale.

It may not be the end of the fiscal year, but with 2018 drawing to a close, Forbes has revealed the Most Wealthy Celebrities of 2018.
Based on net worth earnings, private company stakes, publicly traded assets, art, and real estate assets, George Lucas claimed the top spot for the year. The creator of Star Wars took home $5.4 billion thanks to selling his company LucasFilm to Disney.
Another famous director followed, with $3.7 billion placing Steven Spielberg second.
Oprah Winfrey decided to invest in Weight Watchers this year, increasing her earnings to $2.8 billion. The business deal earned the mogul third place.
He may have retired from playing professional basketball years ago, but his sneakers and management of the Charlotte Hornets garnered Michael Jordan 4th place.
Fifth place saw a tie between Kylie Jenner and Jay Z. Despite the success of their respective cosmetics line and liquor brands, the pair did not reach the billion mark.
The 7th place belonged to magician David Copperfield who has a Vegas residency, and 8th to rapper Diddy who these days earns most of his wealth through clothing and alcohol.
Winning his first major golf tournament in 5 years saw Tiger Woods tie for 9th place with author James Patterson.

]]>Forbes has released its list of the World’s Highest Paid Models and the first place woman is not unfamiliar with the role. For the second year in a row, Kendall Jenner has claimed the top spot thanks to earning $22.5 million through her contracts with Estée Lauder, Adidas, and Calvin Klein, amongst others.
Following the 23-year-old is fellow Estée Lauder and Adidas model, Karlie Kloss, who earned $13 million and is set to have a great 2019 due to signing on as host of the next season of Project Runway.
Third place was a tie belonging to Lip Sync Battle co-host Chrissy Teigen and Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who both earned $11.5 million.
Former Victoria Angel, Gisele Bundchen, rounded out the top 5 with $10 million; tying with Cara Delevigne of Suicide Squad in 6th.
Yet another tie occurred for 7th place as sisters, Bella, and Gigi Hadid, both earned $8.5 million, as did Joan Smalls from Set It Up.
The $8 million earned by Wonder Woman star, Doutzen Kroes, confirmed her spot in 10th place.

The “Swish Swish” singer came just ahead of fellow singer Taylor Swift whose Reputation Stadium Tour helped her earn $80 million.
Beyoncé rounded out the top 3 with a significantly less $60 million as a result of the joint tour with her husband Jay-Z, On the Run II.
The Newly-cinematized singer, Lady Gaga, who garnered praise for her lead role in A Star Is Born, took home $50 million putting her in 5th place behind Pink who scored 4th place thanks to $52 million.
Jennifer Lopez came in 6th with $47 million, followed by Rihanna with $37.5 million, Helene Fischer with $32 million, Celine Dion with $31 million, and Britney Spears with $30 million.

According to the site, the 33-year-old actress quadrupled her 2017 earnings, raking in the big bucks for her participation in the Avengers film.
Earning $40.5 million from June 1, 2017, to June 1, 2018, means that the actress nearly doubled Stone’s top mark of $26 million last year.
Coming in at no. 2 is Angelina Jolie with $28 million with Jennifer Aniston following with $19.5 million. Jennifer Lawrence landed the fourth spot with $18 million and rounding out the opening five is Reese Witherspoon with $16.5 million.
Also featured on the top list are Mila Kunis ($16 million), Julia Roberts ($13 million), Cate Blanchett ($12.5 million) and Melissa McCarthy ($12 million) claiming spots six to nine and newcomer Gal Gadot claiming No. 10 with $10 million.
