Make good music and the money will come.

With 2018 drawing to a swift close, Forbes has announced which women topped the charts — both musically and financially.

Thanks to a mammoth world tour, which took place between June 2017 and June 2018, Katy Perry was ranked as the best-earning female artist for 2018 with a cool $83 million.

The “Swish Swish” singer came just ahead of fellow singer Taylor Swift whose Reputation Stadium Tour helped her earn $80 million.

Beyoncé rounded out the top 3 with a significantly less $60 million as a result of the joint tour with her husband Jay-Z, On the Run II.

The Newly-cinematized singer, Lady Gaga, who garnered praise for her lead role in A Star Is Born, took home $50 million putting her in 5th place behind Pink who scored 4th place thanks to $52 million.

Jennifer Lopez came in 6th with $47 million, followed by Rihanna with $37.5 million, Helene Fischer with $32 million, Celine Dion with $31 million, and Britney Spears with $30 million.
