This is Forbes List of Highest-Earning Comedians in 2019

It certainly pays to be funny.

Forbes has announced its list of comedians who made bank in 2019 and some well-known names feature on the list, proving that humor brought in the big bucks.

The earnings were totalled from June 1st 2018 to June 1st 2019.

Kevin Hart made the most of his comedy tour and Netflix special, bringing in $59 million and securing him the title of top stand-up comedian.

The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor was followed by veteran comedian Jerry Seinfeld, whose Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee series helped him earn $41 million.

Jim Gaffigan, who can also be seen on Netflix in his special Quality Time, made a mean $30 million, followed by Trevor Noah and Sebastian Maniscalco rounding out the top 5 with $28 million and $26 million, respectively.

While the majority of the list was dominated by men, Amy Schumer represented the women, coming in 7th place.
