A star is being re-born!

The greatest love story of 2018 is returning to the big screen with even more heart-melting moments than before.

Following its smash box office run and its subsequent Oscar for Best Original Song (we’ll get to that in a minute), Warner Bros. have decided to release an extended version of A Star Is Born for one week only.

The new version will be 12 minutes longer and include extended performances of Jackson Maine’s “Black Eyes” and “Alibi,” as well as the acoustic parking lot version of “Shallow.” We’ll also be treated to a previously unheard song, “Clover.”

The film’s short return to cinemas will be a welcome delight for fans who fell in love all over again with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper during their performance of “Shallow” at this year’s Academy Awards.

The intimate duet left many wondering if something is going on between the pair. Bradley is in a long-term relationship with Irina Shayk, with whom he has a child, while Gaga has just broken up with fiancé Christian Carino.

“Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” Gaga explained to Jimmy Kimmel about the performance. “[Shallow] is a love song, A Star Is Born is a love story. It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time… When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”

Our love for these two is likely to only run deeper when A Star Is Born hits theatres again!

We admit it — we may have listened to “Shallow” more times than we can count.

The lead song from A Star Is Born has arguably become even more famous than the film itself, having already nabbed a Golden Globe and Grammy Award.

While it is hard to imagine anyone but Aly and Jack — aka Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper — belting out that tune, someone else is giving them a decent run for their money…

During her Meaning of Life tour show in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Kelly Clarkson expressed her great love for Gaga by doing an unbelievable cover of the Oscar-nominated track.

“This chick is amazing. We’re really different, but at the same time, we’re really similar in the fact that she just loves music, and that’s why she’s doing what she’s doing,” said The Voice judge.

“I remember her first single, we actually did a show together, combined for some event. She wrote me a handwritten letter saying, ‘Thank you so much. It was an honor to open for you.’ She was the nicest human being ever… It’s cool to know someone that talented is also really nice. I’ve been rooting for her for a while.”

Kelly pinned her hopes on “Shallow” picking up the Academy Award on February 24th, saying, “This song, it’s from the movie that she’s nominated for, like, a billion awards for… and I hope she wins.”

Before launching into “Shallow,” the American Idol winner quipped, “I hope I don’t suck, and if I do, I hope she doesn’t see it.”

We reckon both Gaga and Bradley would be nothing but proud!

We have gotten our first taste of what the Oscars has to offer.

Disappointing news emerged from The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences last week when it announced that it would be breaking tradition and only allowing 2 of 5 Best Original Song nominees to perform on the live broadcast.

One of those, thankfully, is “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, meaning that we will get to see Aly and Jack —er, we mean Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper — perform together once again.

But it appears we didn’t have to wait until February 24th! Whilst performing as part of her Enigma residency in Las Vegas on Saturday night, Gaga treated the audience to something special.

“So a really good friend of mine… I don’t know if you know him but his name is Bradley. He made that movie, umm, A Star Is Born. So I’m gonna be a little chance-y… Yo Bradley, you wanna come up and do this one?” she said before launching into Shallow.

Anyone else totally in love with these two?!

The Oscars may be film’s grandest night, but the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards is the occasion which garners the most respect within the acting community.

The 2019 Awards season can officially be declared open!

The rounds of red carpets, betting, and acceptance speeches only properly kicks off in January, but the 2019 Golden Globe Award nominations have now been released.

The announcement came exactly a month before the awards which are due to be held on the 6th of January.

The Dick Chaney biopic starring Christian Bale, Vice, leads the pack with 6 nominations (including Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Drama, Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Drama, and Best Picture — Musical or Drama).

The film narrowly trumped A Star is Born, The Favourite, and Green Book which each garnered 5 nods.

The television scene appeared a far more even playing field with Barry, The Kominsky Method, Homecoming, Sharp Objects, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and A Very English Scandal all scoring 3 nominations, behind only The Assassination of Gianni Versace which earned 4.

Not everyone was satisfied — or even unsurprised — by the nominations, as Sam Elliot of A Star is Born found himself without a nod, as did This Is Us and The Handmaid’s Tale besides a Best Actress nomination for the latter.

Hosting duties for the evening will be undertaken by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star, Andy Samberg, and Sandra Oh of Killing Eve (who is also nominated for Best Actress in a Television Drama).

A Star is Born could be coming to the Oscars.

The film’s actors, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have teased that they could possibly perform the feature’s signature tune, “Shallow”.

Fans could be treated to a real-life duet performed by Gaga and Copper as Jackson Maine and Ally if nominated for Best Original Song at the upcoming Academy Awards.

The news of a possible performance was confirmed by Gaga herself in her Variety cover story, in which she vowed that the two will take the stage at the awards show if nominated, “One hundred percent.”

“We talked about that actually, because I’m such a maniac,” Cooper added. “I started texting her the whole pitch of how we should do it. So we’ll see. There might be a cool, unorthodox way we could perform it.”

A Star is Born is Cooper’s directorial debut and is the fourth on-screen adaptation of the musical romance between budding singer named Ally (Gaga) and a fading country singer, Jackson Maine (Cooper).

“Shallow” was co-written by Gaga, Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, and Gaga’s Joanne executive producer Mark Ronson.

Before Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper dived into the shallow and made us all believe in true love again, a very different version of A Star Is Born was on the cards.

The film is the third remake of the 1937 film, with previous versions having starred Judy Garland and James Mason, and Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

The latest installment, however, was set to look quite different originally.

Clint Eastwood and Beyoncé were attached to the project when talks began in 2011, but plans went awry.

“There was a moment where that was the best version of the movie and then all of a sudden, Beyonce got pregnant. Do we wait?” the film’s producer, Bill Gerber, told The Hollywood Reporter. “She was amazing about all this stuff. She always understood if we were going to take a different direction. And then Clint went off and did another movie.”

You might describe the entire thing as fate if you’re Bradley Cooper.

The 43-year-old originally passed on the film, feeling he was too young, but when presented with the opportunity again, Gerber says, “he was happy to hire himself as the actor because he was a little older at [that] point and he felt like he could portray the character better.”

We think he did a pretty good job.

A star wasn’t the only thing that was born — but a friendship too.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are the stars of the A Star is Born remake, with Bradley also making his directing debut.

Both have now opened up about just how the friendship they developed is what made filming all the more special.

“Our friendship is exactly what set the tone for this film,” Gaga told PEOPLE. “He’s such a wonderful person. He says it to me in the movie, he says, ‘All you gotta do is trust me.’ I trusted him the whole time. He pulled things out of me that I never thought that I ever had.”

The pair had an “instant connection” according to the “You and I” singer who revealed that he came over to her house and they shared leftover spaghetti before shooting began.

Gaga’s sentiments were backed up Bradley who said, “I made a friend for life. As great as this movie was the thing that I think I’ll take away forever is the relationship I have with her because she is an incredible person. I’m very lucky to have worked with her.”

Swoon!

The first official trailer for A Star Is Born is finally here!

While the musical remake is the fourth in number, 1937 original was remade in 1954 with Judy Garland and in 1976 with Barbra Streisand, it nonetheless marks actor Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut.

The musical remake also marks Lady Gaga’s first significant film acting role.

In the remake, Cooper plays an established country star named Jackson Maine. The preview shows Jackson meeting Ally played by Lady Gaga, a struggling artist who is scared to perform her own music and would rather sing other’s music because she’s told her music his good but her looks aren’t. Enter Maine who encourages her to get up on stage and show off her voice and her beauty.

The trailer hit social media Wednesday via Twitter.

Just after the trailer dropped, Lady Gaga took to social media to share her experience and excitement.

“It’s a dream come true and an honor to be a part of this incredible movie. Bradley Cooper’s ability as a director, actor and musician is astounding. I can’t wait for people to see this authentic, epic, beautiful love story. It’s called ‘A Star Is Born,’ and I’m beyond thrilled for you to meet Jack and Ally.

The trailer also reveals that Cooper is quite the singer taking to the stage at Glastonbury in 2017 to film the live performance scenes for the film.

A Star is Born is scheduled to hit theaters on October 5.
