“A Star Is Born” is Returning to Cinemas

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in "A Star Is Born"

A star is being re-born!

The greatest love story of 2018 is returning to the big screen with even more heart-melting moments than before.

Following its smash box office run and its subsequent Oscar for Best Original Song (we’ll get to that in a minute), Warner Bros. have decided to release an extended version of A Star Is Born for one week only.

The new version will be 12 minutes longer and include extended performances of Jackson Maine’s “Black Eyes” and “Alibi,” as well as the acoustic parking lot version of “Shallow.” We’ll also be treated to a previously unheard song, “Clover.”

The film’s short return to cinemas will be a welcome delight for fans who fell in love all over again with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper during their performance of “Shallow” at this year’s Academy Awards.

The intimate duet left many wondering if something is going on between the pair. Bradley is in a long-term relationship with Irina Shayk, with whom he has a child, while Gaga has just broken up with fiancé Christian Carino.

“Yes, people saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” Gaga explained to Jimmy Kimmel about the performance. “[Shallow] is a love song, A Star Is Born is a love story. It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time… When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”

Our love for these two is likely to only run deeper when A Star Is Born hits theatres again!
