Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper Tease Oscar Performance

A Star is Born could be coming to the Oscars.

The film’s actors, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have teased that they could possibly perform the feature’s signature tune, “Shallow”.

Fans could be treated to a real-life duet performed by Gaga and Copper as Jackson Maine and Ally if nominated for Best Original Song at the upcoming Academy Awards.

The news of a possible performance was confirmed by Gaga herself in her Variety cover story, in which she vowed that the two will take the stage at the awards show if nominated, “One hundred percent.”

“We talked about that actually, because I’m such a maniac,” Cooper added. “I started texting her the whole pitch of how we should do it. So we’ll see. There might be a cool, unorthodox way we could perform it.”

A Star is Born is Cooper’s directorial debut and is the fourth on-screen adaptation of the musical romance between budding singer named Ally (Gaga) and a fading country singer, Jackson Maine (Cooper).

“Shallow” was co-written by Gaga, Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, and Gaga’s Joanne executive producer Mark Ronson.
