There’s a lot more love left to explore!

The New York Times column, Modern Love was adapted into a series by Amazon Prime which debuted on its streaming service last week.

The anthology series depicts love in its various forms, including sexual, romantic, familial, platonic, and self-love.

Set in New York City, the series featured famous faces throughout its episodes such as Anne Hathaway, Catherine Keener, Dev Patel, Andrew Scott, Cristin Milioti, and Ed Sheeran, amongst others.

A whole new set of stars will now have an opportunity to appear, as the series has been renewed for a second season.

“Since its debut just last week, the reaction to Modern Love from viewers has been incredible,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios. “It’s a show with so much emotion and warmth – every episode touches the heart in a different way. We’re so excited we’ll be able to bring our global Prime Video customers more of the beautiful stories of romance, friendship, and family from Modern Love.”

John Carney, who created the series and served as writer, director, and executive producer, will once again act as showrunner as he brings us more tales of love in 2020.
