Ryan Reynold’s reaction to Joker beating Deadpool in the box-office is priceless.

When Deadpool landed on the big screen in 2016, it was a much-needed breath of fresh air. After being bombarded with Marvel flicks, Ryan Reynolds debut as the hilarious anti-hero was great for superhero fans over the age of eighteen. The unconventional X-Man drinks, swears, and mocks just about every superhero trope in the book.

The film was such a big hit that it ended up pulling an impressive $783 million at the box office. Up until now, this was the record for the highest-grossing R-rated movie. Now, the far more serious and darker Joker movie is set to overtake it.

In true Deadpool style, Reynolds responded to the news with a hilarious edited photo he shared on Twitter.

The photo was of the iconic photo of Arthur Fleck on the staircase with the words “You motherf***er edited over the top. He captioned the image: “R-Rated box office congratulatory posts aren’t like the ones you’re used to…”

The joke image has received thousands of retweets and fans are looking forward to the Joker digs that will inevitably follow in Deadpool 3.

If you haven’t managed to catch Joker on the big screen yet, there’s still time.
