What do you do when you have too many gifts?
Just ask the Royal couple.
The countdown has well and truly begun for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are set to walk down the aisle on May 19th.
Their romance has captured hearts around the world, so it is no surprise that global citizens wish to shower gifts on the English-American pair.
But, it appears, the enthusiasm is perhaps a little too extravagant as Kensington Palace has now issued a royal decree:
Prince Harry & Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill they have received since their engagement, & have asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion of their wedding considers giving to charity, instead of sending a gift. https://t.co/lzfrRmoeUv pic.twitter.com/nxrTZtIKBY

Expressing their gratitude for all the goodwill received, the happy couple are instead requesting that, rather than sending presents to mark the occasion of the wedding, people should donate to 7 charities close to their hearts.
These include charities pertaining to HIV, the environment, homelessness, sport for social change, female empowerment, conservation, and the Armed Forces.
The couple have personally chosen 7 charities which represent a range of issues that they are passionate about, including sport for social change, women's empowerment, conservation, the environment, homelessness, HIV and the Armed Forces.

And we’re sure that a lot of love and good wishes will be donated as well.
