CBS Has Already Renewed These Fan Favourites

Allison Janney and Anna Faris in "Mom"

It’s a good day to be a fan of Chuck Lorre comedies.

As news of show renewals (and dreaded cancellations) continue to pour in, CBS has decided to give the nod of approval to three shows by creator Chuck Lorre.

The network is currently home to Mom, The Big Bang Theory, and its spin-off, Young Sheldon.

All three are set to return to screens later this year, with Mom — which recently celebrated in 100th episode — coming back for a 6th season; The Big Bang Theory is set to continue making science cool for a 12th year; and Young Sheldon coming back for its second.

The news of Mom being picked up again was made by executive producer, Lorre, during the show’s wrap party.

The trio’s renewal does not come as much of a surprise as they mark CBS’s top 3 comedies amongst both adults aged between 25 and 54, as well as 18 to 49.

Here’s to more Lorre!
