Laura Dern has been cast in a new Quibi series.
The Little Women star is heading to the quick format platform for the forthcoming series Just One Drink.
Dern will play a bartender in the series from Nick Hornby. According to Variety, the show will be comprised of a series of one-act vignettes between said bartender and the customers she serves, all of whom are in various states of emotional disrepair.
Quibi has already announced a slew of projects with A-listers including Guillermo del Toro, Antoine Fuqua, Sam Raimi, Jason Blum, Steven Soderbergh, Catherine Hardwick, Anna Kendrick, Doug Liman and Laurence Fishburne.
Quibi, a short-form mobile video platform, launches April 6th.
