Paul, John, George, Ringo… and Kanye.

The Chicago rapper has accomplished a pretty impressive feat by tying a record held by The Beatles for the longest streak of albums to hit number one.

Kanye’s 8th studio album, Ye, was released on the 1st of June and went straight to number one on the Billboard 200.

The occurrence meant that the 41-year-old now holds the same record as the Fab Four, as well as fellow rapper Eminem, who have all notched up 8 consecutive number one albums.

During Ye’s first week, it already sold 208,000 album units — 85,000 of which were traditional albums as opposed to digital downloads.

Wife, Kim Kardashian, proved once again that she is Yeezy’s biggest fan by applauding her husband’s efforts on Twitter:

So far, Kanye has 4 number one Billboard hits under his belt, compared to The Beatles’ 19.

If there’s anyone determined enough to try… it’s definitely Kanye.
