Less than a month after learning that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are seeing each other,
PEOPLE is reporting that the couple is engaged.
“It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding,” a source close to the couple shared with PEOPLE.
The two met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 2016 when the pop icon hosted an episode, But they have been dating for just a few weeks as they were romantically involved with other people. Come mid-May the two broke up with their respective partners, Grande broke up from rapper Mac Miller and Davidson’s split from longtime girlfriend Cazzie David and finally turning their friendship into something more.

Details about the engagement have yet to be confirmed, but sources tell E! News that Grande was already announcing the big news to friends over the weekend at Robert Pattison’s house party.
Just last week Davidson gushed over his girlfriend during an appearance at a Hollywood improv club last week saying that he feels that he has “won the lottery and couldn’t believe how happy he was.”
After news of the engagement broke, Ariana took to Twitter, sharing a cryptic message of love to her beau, writing, “i love u sm hi & thank u i love u bye.”
