On Sunday, Justin Timberlake took to Twitter to announce that he would be performing at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show. He posted a video with Jimmy Fallon along with a caption, “I DO have the time. Half the time…#PepsiHalftime #SBLII @Pepsi @NFL @JimmyFallon @FallonTonight.”
Pepsi confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: “It’s official: @jtimberlake is taking the #PepsiHalftime stage at #SBLII Tune into #SNF tonight for the full scoop & we’ll see you on Feb 4!”
Timberlake previously appeared twice at the Super Bowl, once in 2011 with Britney Spears and Aerosmith and prior to that at the 2004 Super Bowl with Janet Jackson. The performance made headlines when Justin ripped off Miss Jackson’s clothes, exposing her breast to the world in the now-infamous “Boobgate.”Superbowl LII will be taking place on Feb. 4, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
