Don’t worry, Deadpool fans, the Marvel anti-hero isn’t washing his mouth out with soap just yet.
Many feared that when Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, it would clean up Deadpool‘s image to maintain its reputation as a family-friendly production company.
Just last year, a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 — sans swearing — was released to cater to younger audiences.
But it seems all that fear over F-bombs was fussing over nothing.
Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger has assured fans that the movies starring Ryan Reynolds will continue to be rated R.
“We will continue in that business,” he said, noting the film’s popularity.
