Jonah Hill‘s dark comedy Outcome is shaping up to be one star-studded affair, and another A-list star is eyeing a key role in this project. Cameron Diaz, who recently put an end to her acting hiatus, is in talks to join Keanu Reeves in this promising project.

Outcome will center on Reef (Keanu Reeves), a troubled Hollywood star who must confront his demons and make amends after a mysterious video clip from his past comes back to haunt him.

Outcome marks Hill’s first live-action film as a director since his feature directorial debut Mid90s in 2018. He co-wrote the script with Ezra Woods, in addition to serving as one of the producers alongside Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner.

Having Cameron Diaz join this project is a huge deal since it cements her decision to return to acting for good. She decided to bring her decade-long hiatus to an end when she accepted the lead role in Netflix’s action-comedy Back in Action opposite Jamie Foxx.

Diaz took a break from acting in 2014, after starring in The Other Woman, S-x Tape, and Annie. She used this time to focus on her other creative endeavors, including her work as an entrepreneur and author.
