Raye came into this year’s BRIT Awards with a record-breaking seven nominations and ended up stealing the show. The R&B hitmaker collected six awards at The O2 Arena in London on Saturday night, becoming the most decorated act at the BRIT Awards in a single year.

Raye previously topped the list of BRIT Awards nominees with seven nods, becoming the most nominated act in a single year. Her domination continued on Saturday night, when she won all the awards she was in the running for, with the exception of the best pop act prize, which went to Dua Lipa.

Raye knocked it out of the park with her debut album My 21st Century Blues, which prevailed against The Ballad of Darren by Blur, Beautiful and Brutal Yard by J Hus, No Thank You by Little Simzand Heavy Heavy by Young Fathers to be named the British album of the year.

Raye also won awards for the British artist of the year and the song of the year with “Escapism” ft. 070 Shake. She collected three more prizes outside of the main categories, including best R&B act, best new artist, and songwriter of the year.

The 2024 BRIT Awards were held on March 2 at The O2 Arena in London, with Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp hosting the festivities.
