2020 has been a truly historic year for BTS, and the members of this K-pop band are getting ready to end it on a high note. Their latest album Be became their fifth record to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart, setting several important milestones along the way.

BTS’ latest record hit no. 1 with 242,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during its first week on the Billboard 200. To make the whole thing even more impressive, Be isn’t even their first album to top the chart in 2020—Map of the Soul: 7 did the same back in February.

Along with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, BTS is currently the only act with two albums atop the Billboard 200 this year. They’re also the fastest group to score five chart-topping albums since the Beatles.

The chart-topping success of Be comes only a few days after BTS made Grammys history by becoming the first K-pop act to score a nomination with their for best pop duo/group performance nod for “Dynamite”. They thanked the Recording Academy and their fans on Twitter, for listening to their music and sympathizing with it during such a difficult time.
