Amy Schumer needs a batch of chicken soup.
The comedienne is feeling less than pretty at the moment, after having to be admitted to hospital.
Just a few days after releasing her latest film, I Feel Pretty, the 36 year old contracted a kidney infection.
In an Instagram post, Amy shared several photos of herself in a hospital bed, as well as doting family members who have been by her side.
Amy’s 5-day hospitalization does not seem to have affected her sense of humor as she joked about her husband, Chris Fischer, whom she married in February.
“I want to give a big thank you to the doctors, the bad ass nurses, also my husband who’s name is, I want to say, Chris?” she wrote on Instagram.
The infection also meant that the actress missed the opening of I Feel Pretty in London, but says “I hope people check it out in England and everywhere else in the world. It’s sweet and fun and you will walk out feeling better. Which is something I hope to feel soon too.”
