Gwyneth Paltrow has a confession.
The engaged mom of two was recently at the premiere for Avengers: Infinity War, where she admitted on the red carpet that she has never seen a Marvel movie.
“To be honest, I’ve never seen an Avengers movie,” the actress said. “I know… my son is a huge fan, so I’m here with my son. I’m most excited to watch him watch the movie.”
We get it—superhero flicks are not for everyone.
Except that Gwyneth has actually starred in not one, but two Marvel films!
The 45 year old took on the role of Pepper Potts in 2008’s Iron Man and has since inhabited the character in six films—including The Avengers in 2012, where she played a pivotal part in getting the team together, and Avengers: Infinity War, which just hit screens.
We’re not too sure why Gwyneth has never seen either of them—unless she just forgot—but let’s hope she stayed to watch the film at the premiere.
