It was a marvelous night at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards!
The event was held at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles where James Corden played host to television’s biggest night.
Competing in its very first Emmy Awards, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel took home Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Actress for its star Rachel Brosnahan, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for Alex Borstein, and even writing and directing awards for creator Amy Sherman-Palladino.
Barry also did well, receiving Best Comedy Actor and Supporting Actor for Bill Hader and Henry Winkler, respectively.
While Mrs. Maisel swept in the comedy category, the drama side was more diverse.
Game of Thrones claimed Best Drama Series, while Peter Dinklage took home Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.
Best Supporting Actress in a Drama went to Thandie Newton of Westworld, while The Americans, which is ending, received Best Writing for a Drama Series and Best Actor for Matthew Rhys.
Best Actress in a Drama Series was a royal affair as Claire Foy of The Crown was crowned the winner, and the series also won Beat Directing.
