Warner Bros. are planning to reboot the classic Little Shop of Horrors and among the names considered to join the beloved monster movie is reportedly no other than the Mother Monster herself – Lady Gaga. Those are all still rumors but Gaga is thought to be meant for the role of Audrey.

According to a US Weekly report, Gaga was approached with an offer and is “very interested to keep acting.” She was recently nominated for an Academy Award for her role in A Star is Born. This is not the first part that Lady Gaga has been rumored to be offered. Earlier rumors claimed that she was offered the role of Ursula in a live adaptation of The Little Mermaid.

Little Shop of Horrors began as a movie in the 1960s. It was adapted to an off-Broadway musical in the early 1990s and again into a movie in 1986. The movie starred Rick Moranis as Seymour, a florist who discovers a popular plant that thrives on human blood. Ellen Greene portrayed Audrey, his love interest that worked with him in the flower shop. The movie also featured Steve Martin and Bill Murray.
