We’re Getting Way More Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres and Michelle Obama in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

Ellen DeGeneres is going to have us dancing for many years to come!

The comedienne has signed a new deal to extend her endearing talk show for another three years.

Ellen has been a household name since 2003, with The Ellen DeGeneres Show providing a fun space for celebrities to engage, a platform for talented individuals, and a few scare tactics along the way.

The show will now be around until 2022, giving many more reasons to get up off your chair and dance.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be doing my show for three more years,” the 61-year-old host said during Tuesday’s show. “Mostly because I love doing it so much every day, but also because that takes me to the end of my car lease.”

The announcement of the renewal is in contrast to remarks Ellen made in December to The New York Times, where she spoke about the possibility of retiring when her contract was up.

In addition to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen will also be hosting Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways at the end of the year.
