“Veronica Mars” Revival Series in the Works

Another revival is in the works. 

It looks like Veronica Mars is going to make its TV return as sources tell Variety that a revival is in the works at Hulu. 

Creator of the show, Rob Thomas is reportedly working out the last details before inking a deal with the streaming service to bring back TV’s beloved detective. The deal includes a limited 8-episode series. According to the outlet, original series star Kristen Bell is set to reprise her role as the titular character. Thomas will also pen the script.

The original followed Mars as she progressed from high school to college. She worked part-time for her detective dad Keith played by Enrico Colantoni, who opened his own private detective agency. It ran for three seasons and aired over 60 episodes. 

Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, Ryan Hansen, Teddy Dunn, Michael Muhney, and Tina Majorino. and Amanda Seyfried also starred in the original.
