Congratulations to Hilary Swank and Philip Schneider!

The 44-year-old actress has secretly married the social venture entrepreneur over the weekend.

The couple were engaged a year and a half after they were set up by close friends.

The wedding took place the Saint Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California. Swank told Vogue that the redwood grove was the perfect setting, “We found exactly what we were looking for at the Santa Lucia Preserve. It’s a stunning private community surrounded by 20,000 acres of conservancy and an intimate redwood grove populated with trees that are over 800 years old.” The location was also chosen since the actress’ father could attend and walk his daughter down the aisle.

The outlet also shared stunning photos of the happy couple’s outdoor ceremony. Swank opted for two gowns, the first was an Elie Saab Couture creation that featured 25 meters of Chantilly lace, eight meters of silk chiffon, and six meters of organza silk and took 150 hours to create. The second gown was a custom-made Dior frock designed by Christian Louboutin.

I’ve loved Elie Saab for years and was thrilled to have him design my dress,” Hilary told the Vogue. “I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered—designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. It was everything I imagined and more.”

The reception took place in a rustic barn that’s over 100 years old, which was illuminated with hundreds of globe string lights. After dinner was over the couple surprised their guests as they emerged after a complete outfit change and headed to the dance floor to perform a tap dance choreographed to Moby’s In My Heart.

“I doubt we completely pulled off the modern-day version of Fred and Ginger, but we had fun, and our family and friends seemed to enjoy it. We prepared for it with the stellar and unparalleled Chloe Arnold and shocked ourselves and our guests by not stepping on each other’s toes!”

Congrats on your special day!
