50-year-old singer Toni Braxton and 49-year-old rapper Birdman got engaged! The rumors about this started a few weeks ago when Braxton was first spotted rocking a huge ring. She confirmed the engagement in a teaser for her reality show Braxton Family Values, where she said: “I have an announcement to make. I’m engaged!”
The couple started dating in May 2016. They first appeared in public together a month later at the BET Awards ceremony. Braxton and Birdman actually met back in 2002, when she was working on his hit song “Baby You Can Do It”.
Earlier this month, Braxton has announced she will be returning to her music career after a long break of 8 years. Her new album, titled Sex and Cigarettes, is scheduled to come out in about a month, on March 23.
