Something wicked is coming this way for Anne Hathaway!
The Ocean’s Eight star is set to be a part of a big screen remake of one of Roald Dahl’s classics.
The children’s book from 1983 tells the story of a 7-year-old British boy who goes to live with his Norwegian grandmother after his parents are killed in a car accident. As a secret organisation of witches prepare to conduct an awful operation, the pair must defeat them and save the children of the world.
The tale was previously adapted in 1990 starring Rowan Atkinson and Angelica Huston.
Hathaway will now take over the role played by Huston of the Grand High Witch.
The project will be both penned by Back to the Future director, Robert Zemeckis, who will also produce along with Oscar-winning directors Guillermo Del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón.
