“The Twilight Zone” Already Renewed for Season 2

Jordan Peele in "The Twilight Zone"

Jordan Peele’s new take on The Twilight Zone has not only been well received by audiences, but by the network airing it, too.

The first episode of the reboot received the highest level of unique viewers ever on a premiere day for an original series on CBS All Access, and it is now being rewarded with a second season while still in the midst of its first.

The Get Out director serves as host, producer, and narrator of the anthology series, which features a collection of famous names including John Cho, Tracy Morgan, Zazie Beetz, Adam Scott, Greg Kinnear, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kumail Nanjiani, Chris O’Dowd, Seth Rogen, and Jacob Tremblay.

“Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg’s reimagining of The Twilight Zone is off to an amazing start on CBS All Access, driving the most viewers on its premiere day for an original series to date,” said EVP Original Content at CBS All Access, Julie McNamara.

“Jordan, Simon, the creative team and cast have done a phenomenal job translating the series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling for modern-day audiences. They are master storytellers, and we look forward to bringing fans further into The Twilight Zone with a second season.”

Season one of the series concludes on May 30th.
