You don’t win a Golden Globe for your debut season and then not get picked up for a second.
So, it was really no surprise that The Kominsky Method will be returning for round 2.
The Netflix series from The Big Bang Theory creator, Chuck Lorre, picked up two awards at the 2019 Globes — one for Best Television Series (Comedy) and the other for its star Michael Douglas in the Best Actor in a Comedy Series category. His co-star Alan Arkin was also nominated in the supporting actor category.
The pair is set to return as the actor and agent in the series which explores life in Los Angeles as one enters the more mature years.
Like the first, the show’s sophomore season will consist of 8 half-hour episodes.
Production is due to begin later this month.
