The fruits of its labor have now earned an astounding $350 million at the domestic box office and an even more impressive $1.2 billion globally.

The figures mean that Endgame now holds the records for Largest Domestic Opening Weekend, Largest International Opening Weekend, and Biggest Weekend Overall, among many more. It also managed to gain $350 million in just 3 days, beating the previous record of six.

Many of the records were previously held by the movie’s predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War.

They’ve certainly avenged the box office.

The release broke records around the world — having the highest opening day in those countries — and earning $107.5 million on its opening night in China, making it the highest-ever grossing Hollywood film in the region.

The film opened in the United Kingdom on Thursday, meaning Britain was not even a part of the record-breaking $169 million global intake.

It is possible — and even likely — that the movie will reach $1 billion in its opening weekend.

Doesn’t seem like even Thanos can stop it.

The Spider-Man actor has a notorious habit of spilling the beans about big moments in Marvel’s movies during interviews and other press encounters.

For example, while introducing a special screening of Avengers: Infinity War last year, the 22-year-old actor inadvertently spoiled the ending by declaring, “Don’t worry, I’m still alive!”

We’ll just, we use like very vague terms to describe to him what is happening in the scene, because he has a very difficult time keeping his mouth shut.”

The website compiled its annual list of who made it big based on domestic box office earnings throughout the last 12 months.

Josh Brolin found himself in 5th place, having earned $1 billion, mostly thanks to his turn as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but also his appearance in Deadpool 2. Another Avengers: Infinity War star, Chris Pratt secured 4th place with $1.1 billion. Samuel L. Jackson’s uncredited appearance in the Marvel film earned him $1.29 billion, placing him 3rd.

2nd place was a hard-fought tie between Chadwick Boseman, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, and Sebastian Stan whose roles in Black Panther earned them $1.38 billion.

But reigning supreme at the top was the actress who starred in both Black Panther and Avengers, as well as Ready Player One — Letitia.

The British actress earned $1.55 billion in 2018.

It certainly pays to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to TheWrap, “individuals with knowledge of the project” confirmed the news and said that the 22-year-old has “already shot her scenes.”

It is typical for Marvel to be fairly secretive with details of its movies, so it is hardly surprising that we have no information over just who the Aussie actress will be playing.

It’s just, come on guys, there are other stories to tell besides hyper-gonadal males without families doing death-defying things for two hours and wrecking cities in the process. It’s like, oy!”

“Oy” is right because the Oscar winner has now enraged one of the internet’s most feared entities—Marvel fans.

Twitter erupted with members of the fan base inquiring just why Cameron will soon be releasing 4 sequels to Avatar if he is so keen for “other stories.”

Thankfully though, Marvel head Kevin Feige didn’t take the comment too seriously, telling Vulture, “Uh, he loves the movies! That’s awesome! Wow, James Cameron loves our movies! That’s exciting!”
