The White Lotus is one of the most talked-about shows on HBO right now and it turns out we’ll be talking about it for years to come. Following the Season 2 premiere, the critically acclaimed series has been renewed for its third season.

Francesca Orsi, the EVP of HBO Programming, confirmed the show’s renewal in an official statement and praised its creator, director, and writer Mike White for transforming it into one of HBO’s buzziest and most critically acclaimed shows.

“He’s only continued to reach new heights in Season 2, which is the ultimate testament to Mike’s raw, unparalleled vision. His courage to explore the uncharted waters of the human psyche, paired with his signature irreverent humor and buoyant directing style, have us all dreaming of more vacation days at the resort we’ve come to adore,” said Orsi.

The first season went on to win 10 Emmys, including the awards for outstanding limited or anthology series, following its premiere in 2021. It captured the week in the lives of visitors and staff at a fictional luxury resort in Hawaii, while the second season embraced the same premise and took us to Sicily instead.

Season 2 of The White Lotus will feature a total of seven episodes and it stars Jennifer Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Will Sharpe, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, and Sabrina Impacciatore.
