This is not a prank — Punk’d is coming back!
Ashton Kutcher created the hidden camera show in 2003 and served as its host. He was responsible for playing pranks on celebrities including Justin Timberlake and Frankie Muniz, with the show lasting 10 seasons on MTV.
The series is now making a return, sans Kutcher, however. The Ranch actor is passing the baton onto Chance the Rapper, who will host the revival for the new short-form content platform Quibi.
“Punk’d is one of MTV’s most iconic franchises,” said the “Hot Shower” rapper. “I grew up watching this show, and it’s surreal to be in the driver’s seat this time around on Quibi.”
The teaser for the upcoming series features Megan Thee Stallion, a gorilla, and some explosions, which indicate we’re in for an epic ride!
