Olivia Munn to Host 2018 Critic’s Choice Awards

Olivia Munn will be hosting the 2018 Critic’s Choice Awards which will air on January 11.

The President of Broadcast Film Critics Association Joey Berlin said about Munn in a statement “We are absolutely thrilled to have Olivia hosting this year’s ceremony, and know that she will deliver an entertaining and sharp-witted evening to everyone in the room, and the viewers at home. Beyond her skills as an actress, Olivia’s work as an activist within the industry gives her a powerful voice, making her the perfect candidate to lead this night honoring the best and brightest in film and television.”

The complete list of nominations  for the award ceremony was announced in December. The film The Shape of Water scored 14 nominations. TV shows including Game of Thrones, This Is Us and Big Little Lies also received multiple nominations.

This year the Critic’s Choice Awards partnered with CW network to honor Gal Gadot with #SeeHer Award. This award is part of the #SeeHer Movement that recognizes women who push boundaries and break stereotypes.

The 23rd Critic’s Choice Awards will air live on CW at 8 pm ET and can also be streamed live on CW’s website.
