After proving she’s one of the most in-demand actors for television, Nicole Kidman boards another television series.
The Oscar-winning actress has joined the cast of Amazon’s adaptation of Pretty Things, a novel by Janelle Brown. Kidman will star as one of the leads in the story about “Two wildly different women—one a grifter, the other an heiress—are brought together by the scam of a lifetime.”
Brown will adapt the novel to series with Handmaid’s Tale helmer Reed Morano attached to direct.
Amazon won the rights to the novel following a highly competitive race with multiple bidders. The series will be produced under the Kidman’s Blossom Films production company.
