Netflix decided to add a new user-friendly feature last month—a Top 10 list.
In a blog post by the streaming service, they discussed why they decided to add this new feature: “Whether you love books, music, films or TV, top 10 lists are a great way to find out what’s popular. So today we’re rolling out a new Top 10 feature on Netflix. This new row – complete with its own special design – will enable you to see what is most popular on Netflix in your country.”
The Top 10 row will be updated each day, and the series or film’s spot on the list is determined by how well it fits in with the shows and movies you already watch. When you select the movies and shows tab, you’ll be able to see the top 10 most popular shows and movies.
In addition, these Top 10s will have a badge, so you can easily see the most popular ones even when you’re browsing by genre or on your personal list.
This new feature has been running in Mexico and the UK over the past few months.
