Netflix Reveals the First Trailer for “Jessica Jones” Season 2

Krysten Ritter in "Jessica Jones"

We are all eagerly anticipating Jessica Jones season two to hit Netflix on March 8th, so we can binge-watch it in one day. Netflix decided now to make the waiting even bigger nail-biting experience by releasing a full trailer for the second season of the show, after the teaser that was released a month ago.

The trailer gives us a good hint about what we can expect from this season. It has Jessica digging into her past and trying to find why she was the only survivor of the car crash that killed her family. Besides tons of exciting action, we also see that Jessica will pretty much do what she does best; punching people and making cynical remarks.

One thing that stands out is that we might finally see Rachel “Trish” Walker assuming her Hellcat alter-ego in this season. In one moment in the trailer, Trish says “Jessica might not want a sidekick, but she needs one”, possibly hinting at Hellcat. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything until Netflix releases the season two. Until then, you can enjoy the trailer and read the synopsis below.

“Jessica Jones is back as New York City’s tough-as-nails private investigator. Although this time, the case is even more personal than ever before. Fueled by a myriad of questions and lies, she will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth.”

The second season of Jessica Jones comes after more than two years break, mostly due to Krysten Ritter reprising her role in crossover miniseries The Defenders, which saw her teaming up with other Marvel heroes, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The upcoming season will contain 13 episodes, with Raelle Tucker joining as a primary writer for the show and replacing Liz Friedman, who worked on the first season.
