Melissa McCarthy is Set to Star in “Nine Perfect Strangers” With Nicole Kidman

Melissa McCarthy will join Nicole Kidman in Hulu’s limited series Nine Perfect Strangers.

This will be McCarthy’s first recurring role in a series since she won an Emmy for playing Molly on Mike and Molly. McCarthy will also executive produce with Kidman.

Nine Perfect Strangers, from Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty, is about nine strangers who attend a boutique health-and-wellness resort for ten days that’s supposed to help them lead better lifestyles. Masha, the director of the resort, keeps a close eye on the guests during their time at the resort to make sure they make the necessary changes to their mind and body. McCarthy is set to play Francis, one of the nine strangers.

The series is expected to premiere on Hulu in 2021.

If you want to see McCarthy sooner, check her out in the recently released Can You Ever Forgive Me? or in her next role in Superintelligence, where she will star alongside Bobby Cannavale and James Corden.
