Could another series be getting the reboot treatment?

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aka Zach Morris, says he’s open to bringing back the Saved By the Bell gang to our screens, though he admits that reboots aren’t really his thing.

“I’m OK, I mean me personally, never seeing a reboot ever again. I like original content…I don’t need to see these reboots, me personally, I don’t know the desire to see any of these reboots,” he said on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean no. The 45-year-old actor admitted that he could be convinced to reboot Saved By the Bell, saying, “Absolutely. If it was a good product that I felt wouldn’t tarnish the original product, then yeah. I’m open to hearing anything.”

“I love what they’ve done with Cobra Kai. That type of reboot is what I would be interested in exploring,” he added.

Gosselaar and his old cast-mates Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, and Elizabeth Berkley will celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary this year.
