One of Luke Perry’s final wishes has now been fulfilled.
The Riverdale actor passed away suddenly on the 4th of March after sustaining a stroke at his Los Angeles home just days before.
Two months after his death, Luke’s daughter has revealed that the 52-year-old had wanted to be buried in something called a “mushroom burial suit.”
Alongside a picture of mushrooms from the Redwood Nature Reserve, Sophie Perry wrote, “Mushrooms hold an entirely new meaning for me. Any explanation I give will not do justice to the genius that is the mushroom burial suit, but it is essentially an eco-friendly burial option via mushrooms.”
The 18-year-old then told followers to check out the device, which supposedly “returns [the] body to the earth without harming the environment.”
“My dad discovered this and he was more excited by this than I have ever seen him,” Sophie continued. “He was buried in this suit, one of his final wishes. They are truly a beautiful thing for this beautiful planet, and I want to share it with all of you.”
