Krysten Ritter isn’t just a crime-fighting superhero. She’s now a director, too.
With filming for Jessica Jones’ 3rd season underway, the star of the Netflix series will be stepping behind the camera to make her directorial debut.
The series follows Jessica, who, after her career as a superhero fails, decides to rebuild her life as a private investigator in New York City.
“I am beyond thrilled to make my directorial debut on Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” said the 36-year-old in a statement. “The entire crew and cast has become family to me, and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to work with our incredible team in this new way. I am so grateful that Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb, Marvel, and Netflix entrusted me to take the reins.”
It is not yet known just which episode Krysten will be directing, but we’re sure she’ll kick ass.
