Congratulations are in order to Kate Hudson and partner Danny Fujikawa!
The two announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram on Wednesday. The post also revealed the baby girl’s name: Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. The post was simply captioned with “She’s here 💕.”
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her (paternal) grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
The 38-year-old actress also added that everyone was”doing well and happy as can be.” “Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back,” she wrote.
This is the couple’s first child together. Kate is also a mother to son Ryder, 14, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and son Bingham, 6, with ex-fiance Matthew Bellamy.
