“Jurassic World 3” Director Announces Official Title

Chris Pratt in "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom"

Colin Trevorrow marked the first day of filming for the sixth film in the Jurassic franchise by slyly revealing the movie’s official title.

The director took to Twitter, sharing a celebratory message with fans featuring the slate for the film with the title on it — Jurassic World: Dominion.

Trevorrow is reprising his role as helmer after 2018’s Fallen Kingdom was directed by J.A. Bayona. He will direct from a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael based on a story by Derek Connolly.

Jurassic World: Dominion will see the return of franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are set to reprise their roles from the 1993 original film. Jake Johnson and Omar Sy will also be back, as well as Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda.
