Did Marilyn Manson Tease an Upcoming New Album on Instagram?

Is there a new Marilyn Manson album on the way? The rocker, whose last album Heaven Upside Down came out in 2017, posted a cryptic image on his Instagram account and sent the fans into a frenzy of speculations.

The post shows an image of a blurred frequency wave with the latin caption “Omnes surdus es et nunc audite me…” roughly translates to “All deaf and now you hear me.”

Manson also added the hashtags: #2020, #youhavenoideawhatiscoming, #antichristsuperstar and #blacksabbathbornagain. The first two, at least, seem to indicate an upcoming new material release.

Manson has already said he is about to finish the work on a new album in April 2019. He said he wouldn’t compare it to his past work.

“I’m in a mode in life where I wanted to tell stories with this record, and it’s sort of like a wax museum of my thoughts, a study of the chamber of horrors in my head,” said Marilyn. “All the romance and hope you can have in the world, here in the End Times where it can be a different kind of apocalypse for each person listening to the record.”
