The Saved by the Bell reboot has found its lead in Josie Totah.

The Hollywood Reporter was first to report that the Champions star has been cast in the forthcoming half-hour comedy at NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock.

In the Saved by the Bell reboot, California Gov. Zack Morris (it is still unconfirmed whether Mark-Paul Gosselaar will return to the series) gets into hot water for sending low-income students to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High.

Totah is set to portray Lexi, a beautiful, sharp-tongued cheerleader and the most popular girl at Bayside High, who is both admired and feared by her fellow students.

Original stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are set to reprise their roles as A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano.
