The Super Bowl is just around the corner, and people won’t be tuning in for football alone. Jennifer Lopez will be in charge of co-headlining the halftime show, and she’s promising an epic performance at this highly-anticipated event.

The pop superstar, who’s currently receiving a lot of award buzz for her supporting role in Hustlers, compared performing at the Super Bowl to winning an Academy Award, and said it’s much less restrictive than touring.

“It’s like winning the Oscar. It’s the biggest show that there is. It has the biggest audience. You get to have this big production. Like, you don’t get to do that on tour. You know, everything’s budget conscious,” J. Lo told CBS This Morning.

The Super Bowl will take place on February 2nd, 2020, and Lopez will be co-headlining the show alongside fellow Latin superstar Shakira. During a previous interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lopez said they’re going to split the time they have between them and hopefully welcome a couple of special guests to the stage.
