James Bond’s next mission has finally been revealed.

The 25th installment in the secret agent franchise has not been without its own drama, but you would hardly notice as producers of the upcoming film unveiled what is in store for 007.

A promotional video, filmed at the Goldeneye estate of Bond creator Ian Fleming, gave us a taste of what we can expect for Bond 25 (which still does not have an official title).

“We’ve got quite a ride in store for Mr. Bond,” promised producer Barbara Broccoli.

According to the plot longline, “[Bond’s] peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

That villain will be played by Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek, who stated: “I will be making sure that Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing.”

The cast will also include returning actors Lea Seydoux (Dr. Madeleine Swann), Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), and Ralph Fiennes (M). Billy Magnussen, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Ana De Armas, and Dali Benssalah will star, as well. Cary Joji Fukunaga will be directing.

Daniel Craig returns as the martini-favoring spy on the 8th of April, 2020.
