Jane Gloriana Villanueva may be in the midst of a rather complicated love life, but it’s all joy off-screen!
The actress behind Jane the Virgin, Gina Rodriguez, is now a married woman.
On the 4th of May, the 34-year-old walked down the aisle to wed her longtime love, Joe LoCicero.
Eagle-eyed Jane fans may recognize Joe as the Don Quixote stripper, while he has also appeared in Miss Bala and Someone Great — both starring his now-wife.
Gina and Joe began dating in 2016 and got engaged in August 2018.
The couple have now made it official, with the bride confirming the happy news on Instagram.
Sharing a gorgeous video of the big day, Gina quoted her 9-year-old niece who said, “With that one kiss we got 100 new family members,” in reference to the large Puerto Rican and Italian families the bride and groom come from.
“May 4th, 2019 was absolute MAGIC. To my husband Joseph, I am yours forever,” Gina wrote.
Let’s hope Jane gets such a happy ending, too.
