Grab your hats, Indie fans, because we’re going on another quest.

Steven Spielberg has now announced the official commencement date for production on the fifth installment in the Indiana Jones series.

The last time we saw our hero on screen was in 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which made $317.1-million at the box office.

In addition to Spielberg returning as director, Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones at the age of 76.

During his acceptance speech at the Rakuten TV Empire Awards where he was honored with the Legend of our Lifetime Award, the Ready Player One director said, “It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK. The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers — everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.”

We always knew that Indie would someday come walking back through the door. We never doubted it.
