Euphoria hasn’t yet completed its first season, but a second has already been ordered.
The HBO series is based on an Israeli show of the same name and offers a scandalous view into the world of teenagers.
Infamous for its graphic nudity, sex, violence, and drug use, Euphoria follows The Greatest Show star Zendaya as a drug addict who has just left rehab and gets wrapped up in her old life when she meets a new girl in town.
“Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has built an incredible world with an extraordinary cast led by the supremely talented Zendaya. We are so grateful that he chose HBO as the home for this groundbreaking series,” HBO’s executive vice-president of programming, Francesca Orsi said in a statement.
“We look forward to following these complex characters as their journeys continue through the challenging world they inhabit.”
The current season of Euphoria is set to wrap up on HBO on August 4th.
