A woman’s children are always close to her heart.

Or in this case, her wrist.

In case you haven’t heard the devastating news, Game of Thrones is ending next year after 8 seasons.

Filming on the final instalment has already wrapped, with stars of the series having gotten tattoos to commemorate their time in Westeros.

The latest to join the ink parade is the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke.

The 31-year-old received a trio of dragons on her right wrist in hour of her three “children”, Dragon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

“MOD 4 LYFE!!!! @_dr_woo_ made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies…” she used as the caption of the Instagram pic.

We guess it’s a lot less painful to get than “Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.”
